Terms and Conditions for Article Submission – Hindu Canadian Foundation (HCF)

By submitting your article, story, or creative work to the Hindu Canadian Foundation (HCF) for publication on our platform (including the Voices of Hindu Perspective forum), you agree to the following terms:

1. Originality and Ownership

• You affirm that the submitted content is your original work and does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party.

• If your submission includes quotes, images, or media from other sources, you agree to properly credit and obtain necessary permissions.

2. Editorial Rights

• HCF reserves the right to edit submissions for clarity, grammar, formatting, and length without altering the core message.

• We may also decline to publish any submission that does not align with our values or editorial standards.

3. Usage and Licensing

• By submitting, you grant HCF a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to publish, reproduce, and distribute your content across our platforms (website, social media, newsletters, etc.).

• You retain ownership of your work and may republish it elsewhere with appropriate acknowledgment of its original appearance on HCF.

4. Respectful Content

• Submissions must not contain hate speech, defamatory language, or content that promotes violence, discrimination, or misinformation.

• HCF promotes respectful dialogue and reserves the right to remove or reject content that violates this principle.

5. Media and Privacy

• If your submission includes identifiable individuals in photos or videos, you confirm that you have obtained their consent for publication.

• HCF is not liable for any privacy claims arising from unauthorized use of third-party content.

6. Review Timeline

• Submissions will be reviewed by our editorial team. Please allow up to 10 business days for review and potential publication.

7. No Compensation

• Submissions are voluntary and unpaid. Contributors will be credited by name unless anonymity is requested.
