The Hindu Canadian Foundation’s (HCF) call for the federal government to formally review and assess the activities of the group known as CBKE following the tragic killing of Windsor resident Nancy Grewal, an outspoken critic of extremist elements has sparked significant media coverage and widespread public discussion.

Nancy Grewal, a 45-year-old Punjabi-Canadian social media influencer and Khalistani Extremist Critic living in LaSalle, Ontario, was fatally stabbed to death on 03 March 2026. Authorities have confirmed that her death is being investigated as an intentional homicide rather than a random act of violence.
